As a nonprofit, philanthropy is critical to ensure you can carry out your mission. While there are many sources of income, grants can be a reliable, significant source of funding. A successful grants program is so much more than well written proposals. Organizations that are repeatedly awarded grants also have a strong and well organized grants process.

Whether you have a dedicated grants professional on your team or are looking to fill that gap, DBD can help. Our team can tailor solutions to meet your unique needs.

Meet the Team

Grant Services

Coaching/Training

Through Grant Coaching, we will examine your current grant program and offer strategies that will give your organization a competitive advantage in winning grants. We will come alongside your team and provide: foundation prospect review, grant program assessment, consulting, templates, technical support, and grant review to ensure your program is as strong as possible - setting your team up for future success!

Program Management/Support

The program management process will help you build an infrastructure to ensure a successful grants program from pre- to post-award, including a deadline calendar, reporting process, grants management flow chart, and more.

Proposal Development and Writing

Our grant writers can help you create compelling cases for your capital, program, and operating needs.

Foundation and Corporate Research

We’ll help you identify and prioritize the local, state, and national funding sources with the greatest potential for your organization.

Government Funding

DBD Group is familiar with the resources and opportunities available through federal and state funding sources.

Grants Staffing

If you are without or in-between grant staffing, we offer ongoing or interim support through a monthly retainer.

Quick Start Grants Package

Not sure where to start? Consider a Quick-Start Grant Package, which includes:

  • Foundation Scan of 10 local and national foundations/corporate foundations that have the best potential to be a strong match for your organization. The report ranks and prioritizes those foundations you may want to move to the top of your list. A broader listing of up to 100 other funding opportunities will also be included.
  • Phone Consultation to review the Foundation Scan and recommendations as to who your organization’s top three prospect foundations might be along with manageable next steps to increase your success rate.
  • Add on options include assistance in developing or reviewing your grant applications. Often these can become templates that you can use on your own as a starting point with other grant applications.
